What is infrared light used for?

Short wave ultraviolet light burns the epidermis and has no penetrating capacity.

Long wave infrared light reaches very deep areas without significantly damaging tissues. The heat is distributed evenly with a high therapeutic effect.

Because of their therapeutic and analgesic effects, infrared lamps are recommended in medical practice. They are used for those conditions that can be improved by the application of discreetly penetrating and dry heat radiation: rheumatism, arthritis, dislocations, lumbago, neuralgia, neck rheumatism, migraine, etc.

It promotes better absorption by the skin of creams and lotions and is an excellent preparation for professional massage.
