The Hartmann HydroTac foam dressing features a hydrogel structure in the form of a network on the side facing the wound and a bacteria-proof polyurethane top layer. The foam dressing can be used for wounds with light to moderate exudation in the granulation or epithelising phase. The excess liquid in the form of wound exudate is absorbed by the foam layer, while dry wounds are kept moist by the hydrogel layer. HydroTac is soft and flexible, has a good cushioning effect and is practically painless to remove.
