Foot of Elderly Person with Pressure Ulcer

Chronic foot ulcers mostly affect older people, we have designed an elderly person's foot for teaching care and cleaning of pressure ulcers at various stages. Pressure ulcers mainly appear in areas such as the heels, on the tips or between the toes, or anywhere where bones protrude and rub against socks, shoes, the bed, or sheets. This replica shows the four stages: Stage 1 - Located under the toe. The skin surface is reddened. Stage 2 - Located on the sole of the foot, just under the toe. The skin surface is reddened and this redness affects layers of dermis and epidermis. Stage 3 - Located on the side of the foot. The skin surface is reddened, has the appearance of a crater, and reaches the subcutaneous tissue. Stage 4 - Located on the heel of the foot. The skin surface is reddened.
