Endotracheal intubation simulator

Endotracheal intubation for maintaining airway patency requires great knowledge and is not without risks. Since you will have to perform real intubations in emergency situations, you should take advantage of any opportunity to practice anesthetic induction in the operating room. With the endotracheal intubation simulator, you can carry out especially good and realistic intubation training. It allows:

• Learning tracheal intubation both orally and nasally
• Learning the management of supraglottic respiratory aid (e.g.: through laryngeal masks,
esophageal tubes)
• Identifying right and left respiratory sounds through the stethoscope
• Identifying single-lung breathing
• Identifying a wrong esophageal intubation
• The use of the laryngoscope and the practice of maintaining airway patency
can be practiced very similarly to how it is done on a living body
• Flexion of the nape and extension of the head
• Forward mobility of the jaw

The tongue, the epiglottis and the pharynx are faithfully reproduced, so the tongue and mouth are soft. The anterior teeth (the upper four) are finished in such a way that they break when incorrect pressure is applied when introducing the laryngoscope and the teeth are used as a fulcrum.


It is possible to verify a faulty intubation!
When intubation and breathing are done correctly, it is possible to verify that both right and left hemithorax rise synchronously. If only one hemithorax is ventilated, it will be verified that the procedure has been erroneous, since only one side moves. When the tracheal tube has been erroneously inserted into the esophagus and air entry is allowed, then the abdomen rises (stomach inflation). In this way, the performance of an erroneous procedure can be verified.
Some parts of the model are expressly made so that they can be damaged with rough treatment.
