DermLite Foto X Dermatoscope

Photo X can connect to almost any digital SLR camera, compact point-and-shoot system camera, mirrorless, even a smartphone.
Photo X offers four levels of brightness, a 4-level charge indicator, and polarized and non-polarized illumination at the push of a button, all housed in a robust CNC machined aluminum body andbuilt around the proven optics of the previous model.
It does not require an external battery because it incorporates a lithium-ion battery, moreover, it is possible to recharge the Photo X while it is in use, which gives you unlimited operation at any of the three lower brightness levels.

With the snap-on removable glass front plate of the new bayonet spacer design, quick focusing is achieved while the skin contact area is reduced and even allows for contactless ("semi") dermatoscopy, a feature that is especially useful when taking images of vascular structures because even the slightest amount of topical pressure can change the appearance of a lesion.

The Photo X is compatible with IceCap, disposable covers that are placed over the spacer on the unit's front plate to assist in your institution's infection control efforts. In addition, it can connect to your camera or smartphone magnetically (using any of the MagnetiConnect adapters) or through its standard 37mm threaded connection, allowing you to continue using any camera adapter compatible with DermLite Outgoing photos.
