The thinness of the eyelid tissue and the rapid loss of collagen and elastin in the connective tissue, make this part of the face an especially vulnerable area. Age, environmental factors, stress and repeated muscle contractions cause the appearance of wrinkles, expression lines, bags, dark circles... that sadden the look.
