The METRONIK BL-6 blood pressure monitor is a versatile device designed to measure blood pressure non-invasively in various applications:
- Monitoring blood pressure at rest and during exercise.
- Stress tests with the patient on a stationary bike, treadmill, or inclined bike.
- Automatic pressure profiles at intervals selectable by the user.

This equipment accurately determines systolic and diastolic blood pressure values and heart rate in humans. For use on inclined bikes and medical treadmills, it is recommended to use a pressurized chamber to improve system compliance.

The included METRONIK BP-Control software facilitates understanding and documentation of measurements. The operation of METRONIK devices is based on the Riva Rocci/Korotkov auscultatory method, using a microphone in the cuff to capture Korotkov sounds with great fidelity and robustness. These sounds are reproduced in high quality through the speakers. The exercise filter can be activated to reduce the noise of impulse waves and interferences that usually occur during stress tests. Additionally, object movements are mechanically compensated, allowing the professional to verify the accuracy of the measurement.

In addition to the automatic mode, the BL-6 offers a manual mode for the user to manually mark systolic and diastolic values during cuff deflation.
