The 18G x 1" (1.2 x 25 mm) blunt tip loading needle has been specifically designed for the safe preparation, aspiration, and reconstitution of drugs in clinical and healthcare settings. Its design with a 45° beveled blunt tip (Blunt Fill) requires significantly more force to penetrate the skin compared to a standard hypodermic needle, drastically reducing the risk of accidental puncture injuries to healthcare personnel.
The 45° cut allows for clean penetration into vials and ampoules, preventing the shedding of rubber or latex particles (coring) into the medicinal solution. Its wide 18G internal caliber facilitates rapid aspiration of liquids and high viscosity solutions, optimizing preparation times. It incorporates a universal polypropylene cone fully compatible with Luer Slip and Luer Lock connections.
