Application procedure
- Choose the appropriate size considering the incision where they should be placed.
- Clean and properly dry the lesion before placing them.
- Check the integrity of the primary package before proceeding with any further step to ensure its sterility.
- Open the package and remove one strip from the siliconized card to apply it. Place as many strips as you deem necessary.
- If you are going to use Oper Strips without conventional sutures, first place one end of the tape perpendicular to the cut and in the center of the incision. Next, bring the edges of the laceration together and stick the rest of the strip. Continue placing as many dressings as required in parallel, leaving a distance of between 2 and 5 millimeters between them.
- To reduce tension on the section, you can place an adhesive at each end of the strip group perpendicular to them.
- It is necessary to review the wound after removing the product to ensure that it has healed correctly.

Precautions
- Do not apply to wounds that show signs of infection
- Do not apply if allergic to acrylic
- Do not apply if there is too much tension on the surrounding skin
- Do not apply to secondary healing wounds
- Do not apply if proper adhesion cannot be achieved, such as in cases of exudate or irregular surface
- Do not apply to deep cuts or rough edges, except in emergencies and only to keep the skin together until the patient can be properly attended to.
- Before applying them, make sure the skin is clean, dry and free of debris that could affect their adhesion or infect the underlying wound.
- Dressings should not be removed suddenly in order to avoid injuries.
