Oper Strips sutures have a unique composition made of biocompatible materials that are respectful to the patient's tissues and do not cause trauma during their application or removal. Sterilized with ethylene oxide, they keep the lips of an incision together to accelerate healing and prevent pathogens from accessing the injury. Their design allows them to resist tension and stress in a non-invasive manner, so their use does not aesthetically modify the area in which they operate.

Application Procedure
- Select the appropriate size considering the dimensions of the wound.
- Before applying, clean and dry the area properly to promote the adhesion of the strips.
- Check the integrity of the primary package before proceeding with any further step to ensure its sterility.
- Open the package, remove a dressing from the siliconized cardboard to which they are attached, and apply. Use as many adhesive strips as you consider necessary.
- If you are going to use Oper Strips without mechanical sutures, first place one end of the tape perpendicular to the cut and in the center of the section. Then, join the lips of the wound and stick the rest of the strip. Continue applying as many Oper Strips as you consider necessary, always ensuring that they are arranged in parallel and have a margin of between 2 and 5 millimeters between them.
- To reduce tension on the wound, you can place an adhesive at each end of the group of strips perpendicular to them.
- It is advisable to monitor the wound after removing the product to make sure it has healed correctly.

Precautions
- Do not apply to lesions showing signs of infection
- Do not apply if you have any hypersensitivity to any acrylic derivative
- Do not apply to secondary healing wounds
- Do not apply if there is too much tension on the surrounding skin
- Do not apply if proper adhesion cannot be achieved, such as in cases of exudate or areas with excess hair
- Do not apply to deep cuts or rough edges, except in emergency cases and only to keep the wound closed until the patient can be properly attended to
- Before applying, make sure the skin is clean, dry and free of debris that could affect its adhesion or infect the underlying incision
- Do not remove abruptly after use to avoid injuries.
