It has an exterior and interior finish of AISI 304 stainless steel, an opaque opening door and 5 fixed shelves. It has a total capacity of 286 liters and is capable of covering a temperature range between -25°C and -42°C. The equipment includes a digital controller with a 4.3-inch TFT touch screen and incorporates an alarm system that alerts users if the temperature rises or falls beyond the established limits, if the door is kept open longer than advised, and if the power supply fails. It is calibrated following the specifications set by ISO/IEC 17025 and is certified as a Class IIa device according to regulation 93/42/EEC.
